Three horses die on Cheltenham Festival opening day

Three racehorses have died on the opening day of the Cheltenham Festival. Garde Champetre and Scotsirish were put down after suffering leg fractures in the Cross-Country Chase. Educated Evans was then destroyed after breaking a hind leg in the novices' chase. Cheltenham officials have said they would review the incidents.
