Working for a national Association, this is a fantastic opportunity to join our in-house education team based near Gloucester. The Association delivers a full programme of courses contributing to the Continuing Professional Development of veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses. The Education Co-ordinator will participate in and contribute to the effective organisation, delivery, resourcing and marketing of the Association’s accredited educational programmes.
Skills and Experience
We are looking for an individual with proven experience of working in an administration environment. Previous experience of the co-ordination, delivery and hosting of professional training/events and/or experience of maintaining student records in an academic setting is desirable.
A high degree of accuracy in data collection and management is vital preferably including administrative experience of maintaining student information. An awareness of educational learning platforms/technology is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
The successful candidate will preferably have a related qualification, ideally in business administration and/or events management.
They will have excellent communication skills and attention to detail. They will need to work proactively as part of the team and have the ability to use their initiative to resolve any problems that might arise, recognising when to involve others.
In addition, the successful candidate will be a good communicator providing clear, concise written and verbal communications appropriate to the audience with the ability to remain organised and prioritise workload in a pressured work environment. An excellent level of customer service needs to be demonstrated.
The candidate must be flexible to occasionally work outside of normal office hours and at times travel throughout the UK, with potential travel abroad.

Salary & Benefits
This is a permanent, full-time role of 40 hours per week offering between £20,691 and £22,880 per annum. Benefits include 23 days holiday, contributions towards Group Personal Pension, Life Assurance and Health Insurance. Please note that the start date for this role is likely to be in August 2020, but we may need to be a little flexible with this due to the current circumstances.
