The Animal Welfare Science, Ethics and Law Veterinary Association was founded in 1996 to promote understanding and debate on topical animal welfare issues.

WHAT WE DO

Meetings: Bringing together scientists, lawyers, ethicists, farmers and veterinary surgeons to promote inter-disciplinary debate on topical issues.



Journal: Providing high quality information from expert contributors.

CPD: Providing assistance and courses for veterinary surgeons including those undertaking the RCVS Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice (CertAVP) in Animal Welfare Science, Ethics and Law.

Advice: Providing advice to professional bodies, veterinary schools, agricultural colleges and animal welfare associations.

Our members include scientists, lawyers, ethicists, farmers, students and veterinary surgeons.
